By AMAG Technology, President, Matt Barnette
As we continue through Q2 2015 (Where did the time go?) I am excited to share some of the great things that are happening at AMAG Technology. We are making some significant changes to provide products that our customers want and need, put the right people in place to support our customers and are nimble enough to make more changes in the future.
We are extremely excited to announce that we’ve deepened our partnership with Salient Systems, and will now be offering the complete line of Salient’s video products under the Symmetry brand. We will now offer Symmetry CompleteView Video Management System, Symmetry PowerProtect and Symmetry TouchView Mobile Apps. The partnership will extend the capabilities of the Symmetry range of products allowing us to create an advanced feature set to meet the diverse needs of the video customer and provide them the freedom to choose the best technology to meet their specific business needs. I invite you to visit www.amag.com or contact your Regional Sales Manager to learn more.
Another change was scaling of our sales team to best support our growing customer base. We added Kurt Takahashi to the AMAG team as Senior Vice President of Sales. Kurt will be working closely with the field sales organization to implement new strategies and extend our exceptional customer service initiatives. Lindsay Roberts has been promoted to Director of Sales – Western US. In her new role, she will be supporting the three West coast regional sales managers with their sales objectives by providing more customer touches and working closely with end-users, consultants and integrators. Sarah James has moved to Director of Strategic Accounts and will be targeting enterprise accounts. Kami Gibbs has taken on expanded responsibility while continuing her role as Inside Business Development Manager, she is also the new Mountain States Regional Sales Manager. The Mountain States is a new territory, broken out to provide those integrators with increased support.
The 14th Annual Security Engineering Symposium hosted nearly 80 security engineers, integrators and end users in San Diego, February 20-23. Attendees enjoyed a weekend of case study based educational sessions with our valued technology partners, with a little fun mixed in! The security engineers found the case study themed sessions prompted much discussion and feedback for all attendees.
We’ve just returned from ISC West 2015 where we showcased our newest version of Symmetry V8.0.2 which includes more video enhancements, FICAM compliant compatibility for the U.S. Government sector and improved Symmetry Global features. We also released two brand new HD cameras and an F2F compatible reader to complement our Symmetry SR Controller range.
We will continue to make changes to provide the best products, solutions and support to our customers. As always, please feel free to reach out to me to share your opinions. You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
