Why Symposiums are Worth Attending

By Public Relations Manager, Kim Rahfaldt

Every year AMAG sets aside a few days to focus on the consultant community.  This group of influential people understands what end users are looking for in a security system today…and tomorrow, and AMAG takes the time to gather everyone in one place to build relationships, network and learn from the best.

This year AMAG’s annual Security Engineering Symposium will be held in Tampa, Florida, February 28-March 1.   We are looking forward to an action packed weekend where the industry’s top security engineers unite and discuss industry trends, market place needs and how manufacturer’s, integrators and consultants can come together to meet the demands of end users’ cutting edge technology demands.  Everyone in the audiences leaves the event with new knowledge, a fresh perspective and maybe even some new friends.

Each year, we have the honor of showcasing select technology partners at the Symposium.  Security engineers can observe how Symmetry integrates with each technology partner’s system to provide customers with a complete solution.  The engineers can get up close and personal to ask questions, touch the software and hardware and see for themselves how the solutions perform.

This year seven technology innovators will be demonstrating their latest solutions and how they integrate with Symmetry.

WinstedWinsted’s E-SOC Control Stations and EnVision Command Consoles offer progressive new designs, comfortable ergonomics and comprehensive features suitable for any control room application large or small.

After attending several of these Symposiums, what I’ve noticed is that everyone who attends, whether it’s the security engineers, technology partners, security editors, or AMAG employees, leaves with new knowledge they plan to use to increase their business. Everyone gets SOMETHING out of the Symposium, and it’s exciting to be a part of it.

AMAG is thankful for our technology partners’ support and looks forward to another successful Security Engineering Symposium!
